General ArgyleOnLine Shopping FAQs

To order from Argyle OnLine, you need to select all the garments you require, based on your child's measurements then click "Checkout".You will need to type in your delivery address and choose your payment option (Credit/Debit Card, Direct Credit, Cheque or WINZ Quote) and pay for your order. You will then receive an email with the order confirmation.
This depends on your laundry schedule. We recommend a minimum of 3 tops and 2-3 bottoms. It is easy to order more garments if they are needed.
Payment can be made by Credit Card (Visa, MasterCard), Debit Card (Visa, Master Card), Direct Credit or Cheque (payable to ArgyleOnLine).
Argyle OnLine is an online service only.
Argyle OnLine will courier your parcel to you directly. Being an online service only we do not have any pick up options available.
ArgyleOnLine website pricing for both garments and freight charges are inclusive of GST as is the order confirmation you will receive. Please note that the invoice you will receive with your garment order will show pricing and freight charges exclusive of GST and GST will be calculated and added at the bottom of the invoice. The total of your order confirmation and the invoice will be the same.
We will do our utmost to deliver your order within 3-5 working days from receipt of your order and your payment. Deliveries are made through our nominated courier and a customer signature is required as proof of delivery (unless you opt not to sign for your delivery when placing your order.) If there is no one available to accept delivery of the goods a notice will be left by the courier asking you to arrange a more suitable time for delivery, or for you to collect the goods from the courier depot. Delivery will be made to a physical address or PO Box in New Zealand. There is a standard shipping charge per order; this will be shown on your order during checkout. We do not take responsibility for failed deliveries when a customer has provided incorrect or inaccurate delivery information. Delivery times quoted are estimates only; we cannot be responsible for delivery delays due to causes beyond our control.
We use the highest level of online security to ensure that online shopping with your credit card is safe.
If you change your mind about what you want to order before you send us your payment then just complete a new order online. However if you have already paid for your order you will need to contact us, and either swap a garment, or place a new order.

Quote FAQs

Work & Income New Zealand (WINZ) quotes can be created and printed from the website. To get a WINZ quote from Argyle Online, you need to complete the entire order with all the garments you require, type in the delivery address and then you will come to a screen with "payment options". You need to select the "print WINZ Quote" option in the payment selection box and submit. You will then receive an email with the order confirmation and you print this out and take it to your nearest WINZ office for approval and payment.
A WINZ quote can be used to apply for assistance with the purchase of your schoolwear requirements. Once you have created and printed a WINZ quote on our website you will need to take it to your nearest WINZ office for approval and payment. Payment must be made by Direct Credit from WINZ. Once we receive payment from WINZ we will be able to despatch your order that you entered into the website. Please note that your whole order, including freight, may not being fully paid for by WINZ. If this happens you will need to contact us immediately to arrange to pay the difference or have your order amended.
If using a WINZ Quote we recommend placing your uniform order and taking the quote to WINZ at least 3 weeks prior to the date that you need uniform. Over the busy period in January WINZ is very busy and you may not be able to get an appointment with WINZ for a week or two. Once it is approved, WINZ pays promptly however if the payment is not the full amount for your order, including freight, your order won't be dispatched until you arrange the difference or an amendment directly with us. To do this, please contact our call centre on 0800 11 00 59 or contact us via live chat on the Arygle OnLine website.
You can generate a quote from the website using the WINZ quote process outlined above. Payment must be made by Direct Credit from the organisation (quoting the order number as a reference). Your order will be dispatched once your payment has been cleared. If your order has not been paid in full you will need to pay the difference.

Sizing FAQs

Sizes can vary by manufacturer and item. School uniform sizing often does not match everyday clothes. Our garments are uniquely designed for your school and have different fittings, so please check the size chart with your measurements before ordering online to make sure that you get the sizes that fit you best.
You will need a tape measure, close fitting clothes and it helps if you have someone to measure you. Take a few body measurements following our measuring tips. Follow the size chart on the product page to select the corresponding size. We have allowed room for a comfortable fit and growth. Sizing may vary between garments, please check the size chart carefully before placing your order.
If you need a tape measure, they are available from your child’s school. If you are unsure of where to measure, follow our measuring tips. When measuring, keep tape snug but not tight. If your measurements fit you into more than one size, we recommend that you select the larger size. That way you can be sure there is more room for growth.

Return FAQs

An order can be returned within 14 days of receipt. Items must be unworn and in original condition. Damaged, worn, unwashed or altered garments will not be exchanged, credited or refunded. If a fault should appear after a garment has been worn please launder before return. Shipping costs of returning an item will be at your own expense unless an item is faulty; in this case please contact us to arrange free postage. If an item is being exchanged for a different garment size, the postage costs of returning the item will be at your own expense. We will send the replacement(s) free of charge. Exchanges will not be sent until we have received the returned goods.
To return your order it must be accompanied by a copy of the original invoice. Please address your parcel to: ArgyleOnLine, 8 Hugo Johnston Drive, Penrose, Auckland 1061. We recommend you courier your return parcel so you can track its delivery progress and ensure it arrives promptly.
We will not refund purchases of multiple garments used for the purpose of determining the correct size. Refunds will be paid back via the original method of payment. If your order was paid by WINZ, please provide your WINZ client number. Refund cheques take up to 10 working days to be processed.
